Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift at Universal Studios - Intamin Drifting Roller Coaster Concept POV
A concept layout for the Universal Studios Hollywood Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift Roller Coaster. Made using No Limits 2. Sadly there is no coaster in No Limits 2 with a controlled spin so I had to make due with what was available. This video has 2 POVs. The first is a non-drift or spinning POV that would show a normal ride experience. The second is (horribly) similated to how the drifting or spinning could be executed.

An updated recreation of the Kings Island 2020 Giga coaster. The blueprints for Project X have been leaked and all the details are in our hands. Rumored to be called "Polaris" or "Orion", this giga coaster will be about 300ft with around 5,100ft of track. While other recreations are close, this version can be separated mostly by the sizes of the each hill.

It is a terrible layout. Why on earth would you do 2 lift hills when the second one is 500ft + tall? Surely that hill would be enough to sustain speed in a super long layout without the first hill?

Actually, you are correct. I was on a live stream with #ThemeParkWizard and they said that Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift will go over 70mph

Interesting fact the drift coaster that is being built is just basically a spinning coaster but the spinning will be controlled throughout the ride to basically make it as if you were drift racing

No limits 2 needs a major update with all these new coaster models coming out. We need surf, modern blitz train, track and high speed track switch, modern Vekoma trains, Tilt coaster, Axis, Extreme spinnner and soon we will need the Intamin new drift trains.

RidesOrDie here- This is not leaked blueprints. I came up with this layout myself using the leaked concept art and the new info from the permits.

Great layout! Few things, decrease the m/s2 on the 2nd LSM/LIM launch and it’ll be gold. Maybe something like 27m/s2 (60mph) and maybe a little more banking to the right on the mid blitzs about 60secs in. Like 15 more degrees on both sides. Btw love the interactions and smoothness throughout the coaster and inverting elements, SO SMOOTH! And that’s all. Love the blitz!
